You all know what I'm talking about.
VLC?
Virgin lips club?
Yep, I'm in it.
I could go around kissing boys,
but I don't.
Not because I don't want to,
I just choose not to.
I don't care who you are,
what you do,
where you come from,
what faith you believe in,
or if you believe in any religion at all,
because my opinion won't change.
I have braces too... that doesn't help.
I absolutely refuse to kiss any boys with metal on my teeth.
I'm saving my kisses because they're special to me,
and hopefully they'll be special for the people that I do choose to share them with.
You ask what brings this up do you?
Well, I have this friend
and her name is Almond,
and she tells me that I had better start kissing lots of boys before my lips fall off.
She also tells me that if I don't start kissing boys now,
I'm not gonna get much of a chance later on
and then once I get married,
I HAVE TO KISS ONE PERSON FOR THE REST OF LIFE.
(dun dun dun)
Okay, let's get real.
I'll be fine.
Now I'm not condemning anyone who does kiss.
That's your choice to make.
Don't worry.
I still like you.
So life is good.
Even without kisses at (almost) 17. :)
Atta girl! Seriously, I wish I could go back to high school and not kiss as many boys, 'cause later it just isn't worth it at all. It just makes things messy and complicated later. But once you find a boy you know you won't regret kissing years later, go for it ;)
ReplyDeleteLady we were almost the same. I was exactly the same way, I didn't kiss a boy until way after my 18th birthday. but then you know, Kam came a long, and I'm basically hooked. So i guess you almond friend might be right about only ever kissing one person. but i really don't think that's anything to fear. LOVE YOU
