Still aspiring to have a DSLR camera of my own... but luckily this weekend I got a shot to play with Dad's camera. It was fantastically fun. They aren't the best and didn't turn out as well as I would've liked them to, but I like these ones. They turned out pretty well. Oh, and uh... these are of my sister... haha, yeah, we were just messing around. It was good fun! :) Let me know what you think!

And Football Season BEGINS!
And one of the reasons why I love this time of year the most, is football games. Yes, they are great. No, I still don't understand the concept of football except to get it fast the touchdown line. Yes, I have a great time and there are cute boys to watch. No, I'm not going to have to work through all of them!
We won 13-6 against Payson High on Friday night. I was sad because I had to work till 8:30 with Des and Delia. Little did I know (until I asked of course... haha) was that Desmond was gonna try and make it to the game for the second half. It was AWESOME. We got out of there so fast and then I called Izak up and told him to meet me at the school in 10 minutes. (Yes, we did get from South to North Orem in ten minutes. It was CRAZY!) We got there and they had just started the third quarter and it was so much fun seeing so many people that I hadn't seen all summer. It was so great. I just hung out with Izak and Jordan and it was pretty much awesome. I totally can NOT wait for more games. And I especially can't wait for the THS vs MVHS football game at the Bruin Bowl... that will most definitely be INTENSE. And, if I'm feeling brave and risky, I'm planning on decking out in green, white and blue and sitting in the middle of the MV peeps. Only if I'm feeling up to it. I would dress up in MV colors, but I actually know people on the football team at Timp now, so I would probably be marked shameless... haha, not good... Anyways, that's another post for another time... when it's actually... happened... yeah!

Picking Noses with Feet
Yes, you heard me. And it can be done. My younger cousins have proven that to me. It's rather hilarious. It may sound... disgusting... to most, but it was actually really funny! Grandma was getting a bit irritated, but I just laughed and took pictures. Hey, at least they weren't fighting!

Lacking Epic...ness....
Yes, epicness is my new favorite word. Don't judge. I made it up. I'm sure that other people have made it up before and used it too, but it works for me. Anyways, I've been lacking a lot of "epicness" lately. I mean, it's been really hard trying to think of things that top our imitation video of Julian Smith's "Malk". It's hard. Especially when you work 34 hours in a week. I mean, you adults are probably like, "Savanna, welcome to the real world. Welcome to the rest of your life! Wake up call!" Well, if you weren't thinking that, it's alright because my dad has and if you actually do feel some so-called pity for me, I thank you and I thank my paycheck because after I take out tithing and the $20 that I have to pay for calculator rental for math at school this year, I will most definitely be putting it all towards my D3000. (For those of you that haven't heard of this adventure I have been taking, I'm saving up for a new DSLR camera, and my goal date is October 1st. Here's to hoping!)
Anyways, well, I guess I could talk about the semi-date that I went on last night. After I got home from mutual, I was dead tired, but my good friend, Daniel Bean, had asked me for a third time if I wanted to go get ice cream and such and just talk and hang out and get to know each other better. I was all for it, but the first two times that he asked, I was, of course, busy. HONEST! I'm just a busy person okay? Well, I got permission from Dad and my curfew was 10. Fair enough. Called up Bean and said we could go. 10 minutes later we were off. It was rather fun. We went over to Macey's, I paid for my OWN ice cream, thank you very much, and we sat, and we chatted, and laughed and got stared at awkwardly by people that knew me... haha, it was good fun. Well, here is a picture of Bean's ice cream after it finally fell out of the cone. It would've been a LOT funnier if he had dropped it on his face or may I regret saying, his lap. But it fell in the cup. Good times. Anyways... haha, here is photographic evidence:
Yeah, in that last picture, Daniel kinda freaked me out a bit... haha, don't stare at it too long or he might steal your soul...
The best part was that after he had tipped the ice cream in the cup, he ate the ice cream upside-down and felt like a bat. He refers to it as his batman ice cream now. Quite humorous. Anyways, it was a good, messy, fun-filled night with laughs and awesomeness.
Anyways, well, let's see... other little epic things... Well, everything else that I can think of deserves its own post.... haha, maybe I have achieved epicness this week in a smaller form... hmm... yeah :)

Operation: Imitation Malk
Okay, this is so ridiculous, I don't even wanna talk about it. Haha, Carly, Rachel and I were having our usual Wednesday hangout and we weren't sure what to do. We were really leaning towards doing our own Old Spice commercials, but then I came up with the idea to "redo" Julian Smith's video "Malk":
But anyways, it doesn't even COMPARE to the greatness of Julian
But anyways, it doesn't even COMPARE to the greatness of Julian
Smith, but we decided that it was all for fun anyways! The
acting, the editing... the filming... haha, it's all just for a big
laugh. Let me know what you think and if you like it!

I kept saying "milk" instead of "malk" and so I hung a big piece of paper on the fridge so that I would say "malk". It worked! |
Yeah :) |
Carly's black-girl, wanna be, hair do. It was fun! |
Beautiful Rachel! Haha, glad she was willing to help us out! |
Let's not forget about our kitty in the oven (or Mason in the dryer... haha, we had to improvise...) |

Girls Camp Rendition of Old Spice
This was the night after Amanda became famous. She was reluctant to do it, and I would have, but I couldn't recall ever seeing an "Old Spice" commercial. (Don't worry, I am up to date in the "Old Spice" commercial category.) But even so and as nervous as Amanda admitted but didn't show, she was really hilarious. It was pretty awesome. So here's the video for that. Hahaha, it's pretty priceless stuff right here!

"Clothed in Purple and Fine Linen"
Alright, so we weren't in "fine linen", but mine and Carly's cardigans ARE new and I don't think I've ever seen Kaden wear that shirt before, so it must be FAIRLY new, yes? Well, as you might know, we went on a purple streak. Two people is typical, but three is always fun. Love always getting the psycological memo to wear a certain color on a certain day. It totally makes me feel "cool". Haha, yeah...
This post reminds me a lot of our "orange memo"... hahaha... good stuff right there... So maybe I'm the only one who connects with my friends. Just not all of them at the same time...

The Orange Memo
Typical us. This is pretty much candid. Haha.
Kaden's.... kinda smile? Haha, I happen to like this picture a lot! :)

Where I've Spent the Last Five Days
So I just spent the last 5 days at Mia Shalom with some of the people that I love the most. Most definitely a great week to remember. It was a rather rough week, but I made it through and am happy to bring home all the great memories that I shared with people that make me happy and have grown closer to other people in ways that I never thought I would. It was so great. So here are some amazing things about girls camp this year. (In pictures of course :) )
Yeah... because we're just that cool....
Why yes, in fact, Carly and I did wear the same shirt on the first day. :)
We got a bit "knotty" if you know what I mean.
We helped make tang... and LOTS OF IT!
(Carly stirred and it wouldn't wash off.... heehee...)
We were super heroes! Go music committee! FTW!
We got matching pajamas and t-shirts,
We love us some confidence course and waterfront,
And we love each other! <3
I'm just saying.... haha, there will be more to come! I've run out of computer time! Catch y'all later!
